At Left Right In Learning Solutions we're dedicated to helping those who've been left out, specifically children struggling with learning difficulties. Students who are unable to compete in the classroom or perform to their potential ability.
Left Right In's vision is to provide assistance, practical programs and help to students, but also to families, and teachers who have the privilege of working with students with learning difficulties.
School based programs are designed to meet outcomes in the new national curriculum (see school programs for more information). They also meet outcomes in PE currently mapped to the QLD curriculum and will be updated to the national curriculum once it is written for this area. While meeting outcomes this program is fun, easy to run, while also helping to build strong neurological connections, integrate body systems and to lay a foundation for learning. Incorporating the Move to Learn movement program - a simple, flexible program based on the natural movements of babies and toddlers developed by Barbara Pheloung and used with great success in educational settings both nationally and internationally, these programs address the underlying functional deficits that children with various learning difficulties have shown. Comprising on 10 simple movement sequences, the program covers all the essentials that every child needs to establish an effective foundation for academic learning, and in the right order, stimulating the body senses (including the vestibular)and firing up the nervous system. Each of the school programs goes for one year while the home based programs go for three years and grow with your child.
Rachel is continuing to write programs so if you are after a program that is not currently on the website please email me and I will update you on the progress of this program.
